It is hard to imagine Howard University Homecoming without YardFest.
Yardfest has grown from a "Bison" exclusive to a national attraction.
Howard students, alumni, and guests gather on the main quadrangle to
network and celebrate in the Howard tradition. Student organizations,
local and corporate vendors sponsor activities and provide food.
Howard students, alumni, and guest will gather for a unique cultural
experience celebrating the amazing international diversity at Howard
University. The Howard University International event will be a crowd
pleaser for those who enjoy the  expressions of dance and culture from
talented students, dance groups, artists and authors from the
international community. On the center stage, Howard has welcomed
entertainment from national recording artists such as, Jay Z, Foxy
Brown, DMX, Monica, Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, Letoya Luckett, J Holiday,
Fabolous, Cameo, Wale, Beenie Man, Mr. Vegas, Serani, Shaggy, Slick
Rick and Doug E. Fresh as well as various local artists. In addition,
sponsors are given the opportunity to promote their products or
services through signage and exhibit booths located on the main
quadrangle.
