2011 Homecoming Vending Applications

We are pleased to welcome you -- to another exhilarating Homecoming at Howard University. We look forward to your participation in our special celebration a  s a valued business partner resulting in mutual success.

Homecoming 2011, is expected to draw tens of thousands of participants, including alumni, students,  celebrities, and other visitors around  the country to the Yard; as they gather to reunite, celebrate and reminisce about some of the most memorable times of their lives.    

Homecoming's Yard Fest and Yard Football celebration will take place Friday October 21 and Saturday October 22, 2011, respectively.

Based on past figures, We anticipate crowds in exceed of 25,000 each day of the Homecoming celebration. 

Again, the Homecoming game will be an attractive element of the Homecoming celebration, featuring a classic showdown between the Howard Bison and the  North Carolina A&T Aggies. The football game will also be broadcast live on the Yard, where thousands of fans will mingle, shop, eat and enjoy the excitement of the game rivalry on a jumbo television screen. No college event parallels Howard University's Homecoming.

Compliance

As our team works to organize this monumental event is  seamless, we ask that you adhere strictly to our terms, and conditions and logistics. This event is regulated by the  District of Columbia's Mayor Task Force and we strive for 100% compliance.

We would be remiss if we did not note that the economy is causing difficulties for everyone. Prices are higher and customers are making smaller purchases. Our concern with the current economic situation is reflected in our NEW REDUCED VENDING FEE food vendors. Respectively, we ask that our vendors offer at least one menu item priced to accommodate our student customer.

Applying

The guidelines and forms included in the applications to your left request pertinent information necessary to process your Short Term Vending Application and Indemnification. Carefully read all materials, complete and sign all forms. We thank you for your interest in what promises to be an extraordinary event. We look forward to working with you to make this another PRESTIGIOUS Howard University Homecoming.
